How are bytes counted?
UTF-8 bytes: English letters count as 1 byte, Korean characters as 3. An SMS fits 90 bytes.
Is my text uploaded anywhere?
No. Counting happens entirely in your browser.
Do spaces count?
Most forms and social platforms count spaces. Some government and legacy forms count without spaces, so check the fine print.
